Happy Sunday, my friends! It's the second Sunday of October and, despite the 80-degree weather, it's finally starting to feel like Fall in Florida! The temps are getting lower at night, the humidity is lower than "normal" for Tampa, Football Season is in full force, and Pumpkin can be found nearly everywhere and in everything! All reasons why I love Fall in Florida, especially when it's a Sunday and I can watch football all day and make delicious pumpkin-flavored things in my kitchen - like this Pumpkin Spice Smoothie Bowl! This smoothie bowl is perfect for Fall in Florida when it is still too hot out to bake in the kitchen and all you want is an ice-cold smoothie. And the best part is, you can make this delicious smoothie bowl in minutes!
This week's meal made in minutes: Pumpkin Spice Smoothie Bowl
This smoothie bowl is made with simple, whole food ingredients and the cleanest whey protein powder I have yet to find! I discovered biPro while at the FNCE conference in Nashville earlier this week and was able to speak with the company's representatives at the Expo. I was immediately intrigued by the claims made on the product's label, such as "the best high quality whey protein isolate," and soon learned about the production process of BiPro Instant Whey Protein Isolate and how this protein powder is different from all other protein powders on the market. As stated in their website,
So basically, this protein powder is highly concentrated whey protein isolate (providing 20g of protein per 1-25g serving) without all the fillers and binders that the other protein powders are packed with. That was enough for me give this product a try and I was able to take home some samples. I could not wait to get home to try out the three different flavored samples (Unflavored, French Vanilla, and Chocolate) and immediately began using the protein powder in everything from post-workout shakes, overnight oats, homemade protein bars, and even this Pumpkin Spice Smoothie Bowl! The verdict .... AMAZING! All three flavors taste great, blend well, and are great for baking! Win, win, win! BiPro has won me over and I highly recommend their protein supplements if you are looking for the cleanest, high-quality whey protein! Don't just take my word for it, take a look at their nutrition facts label and ingredient list!
Ok, so enough talk about the BiPro protein isolate! Time to talk more about this delicious Pumpkin Spice Smoothie Bowl and how to make it!
